• Born in Grundy Center, Iowa, raised on a farm 2 miles south of Parkersburg, Iowa

• Reconciled to God at church camp in July of 1969, Baptized in the Baptist Church of Aplington, Iowa in February of 1970

• Graduate of Parkersburg High School in 1974 and Graduate of Rose State College in 2004.

• Husband, Larry Skipper, four Children, Ernest, Jennifer, Timothy and Melissa, eight Grandchildren, Kara, Ernest, Danielle,    Jackson, Jason, Tyson, Lillian and a new precious baby due in May of 2009.

• Member of FBC Newalla since August 2003.  Enjoys working for the church and helping others who come into the office.  

• Favorite scripture:  But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31
